  • Marshmallow Root- Soothes the skin, treats skin issues, eczema, psoriasis, treating flesh wounds, cuts, scrapes, burns
  • Eucalyptus- Used for healing wounds, ulcers or burns, cuts and abrasions and sores. Also an effective oil for insect bites and stings. Soothes the infected area and also protects the irritated area from developing infections from microbial activity and exposure to the air
  • Licorice Root- Cold sores, shingles, genital or labial herpes, chicken pox
  • Chickweed- Useful for the skin, contact healer both internally and externally, burns, acne, boils, rashes, soothes inflamed tissue
  • Calendula- Cuts, burns, scrapes, bites, bruises, skin conditions and problems, eye infections, eczema, acne, inflammation
  • Chaparral- Can help remove boils and abscesses, applied to wounds and burns to help cleanse them and promote healing, can be applied to the scalp for dandruff and itchy scalp, has been used as a remedy against insect bites, poisonous bites such as snake and spider bites
  • Plantain- Bee stings, bites, poison ivy, holds powerful skin healing properties, soothing and cooling membranes, helps to stop bleeding, varicose veins, eye infections
  • Yarrow- Healer of wounds, varicose veins, smallpox, chicken pox
  • Lobelia- Lobelia will bring abscesses and boils to a head, has also been found to be a beneficial herbal remedy for the treatment of poison ivy, insect bites, stings, snakebites, sores, lesions, shingles, ulcers, and swellings
  • Extra Virgin Olive oil- Base oil
  • Beeswax- Can act as an emollient (moisturizer) as well as protect your skin from the elements, but the most important role it plays is that it is what gives your salve its stiffness and body so that it can be easily transported and applied
